I didn't realize until reading this why I intentionally find things to do around my house while I'm working. I kept thinking I was not being diligent or devoted enough to my work.

But, I think you're right. The daily tasks to run my household for a lot of people are often just what I need to float away into deep, or not deep thought. I feel refreshed when I sit down again at my computer. Well said!
